Common questions
What is a heat interface unit?+
It's the unit in your flat that takes heat from a shared building network and delivers it to your heating and hot water.
My hot water is lukewarm — can you help?+
Often it's a valve, strainer or setting issue. We'll diagnose it and agree a price before fixing.
How often should an HIU be serviced?+
Typically once a year, though your building or manufacturer may advise otherwise.
Need a plumber who does it properly?
Tell us what's going on. We'll agree a fixed price before any work starts — and we offer 24/7 call-outs for emergencies.
